Departure after breakfast for the 2nd part of the Ankarana tour and early afternoon departure to visit the famous Tsingy Rouge and spend the night in Joffre Ville. The geological formation of the Tsingy Rouge is another of Madagascar's remarkable natural wonders. Made up of laterite and soil rich in iron oxide, the "Tsingy Rouge" features striking landscapes in shades of red, orange and ochre. Its name is similar to that of other Tsingys, such as Grand Tsingy de Bemaraha and Tsingy Gris d'Ankarana, due to their pinnacle-like formations or conical needle-like structures. However, the Tsingy Rouge stands out for its bright red glow and unique sculptural beauty created by nature. Although less grandiose in scale than the Tsingys Gris, the Tsingy Rouge is remarkably fragile and captivating.
Day 3: Visit to Montagne d`ambre park.
Visit Montagne d'Ambre Park and watch the sun set over Francois Mountain. The name Montagne d'Ambre comes not from the deposits of precious amber, but from the amber resin that flows from some of its trees and is used by people for medicinal purposes. The park was founded in 1958 and extends over an area of 182 km² covering a mountain massif of volcanic origin. It is one of Madagascar's first and oldest national parks. This tropical forest with its endemic fauna and lush vegetation, as well as its six crater lakes and three waterfalls, one of which falls from a height of 80 meters, is a paradise for rare animals and plants that can only be found here and nowhere else on Earth. The climate is perfect, the fresh air refreshing after the heat of the lowlandsand sleeping the night in Ramena.
