NOSY IRANJA BIVOUC

Nestled in the eastern vastness of Nosy-Be lies a true jewel of the Indian Ocean - Nosy Iranja. Renowned by "Forbes" magazine as one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world, this pristine paradise draws you in with its crystal-clear waters and pristine white sandbanks, creating a scene straight out of a dream.

Day 1:

Embark on an enchanting journey early morning, accompanied by our knowledgeable tour guide. As we sail on a speedboat, our passionate guide will delight you with tales and myths of the surrounding archipelago, keeping a keen eye out for marine wonders like whale sharks or dolphins, depending on the season (August-September). Arriving around 10am, you'll be greeted by the breathtaking panorama of Nosy Iranja. Take your time to absorb the surreal beauty that surrounds you while enjoying a delicious local lunch. Depending on the tide, you may even have the chance to swim alongside gentle turtles.
After you are refreshed from the swim you'll revel in the incredible solitude, embraced by the colors of the sunset where you have include a little aperitif. After that we will enjoy the local dinner on the beach side. 

Spend the night in a comfortable local tent/ bivouac and cherishing every moment of this unparalleled experience.

Depending on the season embark on a unique nocturnal adventure, witnessing the miraculous spectacle of turtles laying their eggs, (but only alowed with red light).


Day 2:

If you are lucky we will have the chance early morning to see baby turtles making their first trip to the sea under the expert guidance of a specialist. Early morning it`s a beautiful atmosphere to eat a yummy breakfast on the beach. You will have time for snorkeling having a walk trough the villiage see the local handcarfte little markets before having lunch. 

After the lunch we will go back to Nosy Be, this trip will leaving you with memories to last a lifetime.

How the two days planing will look:

Day 1 :

> early morning pick up at the hotel

> jump on the boat for 2 hours 

> arriving in Nosy Iranja for Snorkeling and swming

> having lunch/ and after a little walk to the lighthouse or village (if wanted)

> Sunset and aperitif 

> Diner on the beach 

> at night maybe see seaturtles laying eggs (depens on the season) 


Day 2 :

> watching baby turtles to find there way to the water (depending on the season)

> eating breakfast

> having a walk trought the village

> time for a swim or snorkeling 

> lunch time 

> going back to Nosy Be

  • Can I travel alone to Madagascar ?

    Yes you can travel alone but the streets are not well signature and the public transport outside of Nosy Be is quite a challenge. I would suggest to take a good tourguide on your hand who speaks your language so you feel comfortable.

    The signalisation is almost not existing and Internet is not everywhere.

    Best is to buy a SIM Card from Telma or Orange and buy a plan for 25.000 Ariary

    Most Shop`s taking the local currency Ariary. You can bring EURO to exchange it here in Madagascar little notes are more welcome than the big one in the exchange offices and banks. Would be good to check if you can pay the hotel with the credit card. Cash drawer only existing on touristic areas Visa is working everywhere Mastercard sometimes.

    Miskito Spray, Shorts with light Material, open Shoes, Flip Flop, Sun cream, enough EUR, first AID kit, Aspirin, Imodium, Fenistil, Malariaprohylaxe, Filter Bottle like Katadyn (the tap water is not drinkable but you can buy water at the supermarket)

  • What is the temperature in Nosy Be ?

    All year between 28°-33° degrees, attention capital city of the main island can be much colder. Depends on where you plan to travel in Madagascar check first the tempretaure befor you pack your suitcase.

  • Is there some vaccination required to enter the country ?

    It is not an obligation to enter Madagascar, but the doctors recommend it.
